Wicked Cool Records’ Steve Van Zandt makes Tower appearance
The E Street Band-er is broadcasting live from the D2 record store, and plugging his label.
Sunday July 12 finds Little Steven popping in to Tower Records in Wicklow Street to both present a live edition of his Underground Garage radio show, which usually airs every Friday at 10pm on
Dublin City FM , and plug his Wicked Cool record label. To jolly things along, there will be live sets from Medway Sound-ers The Len Price 3 and local Wicked Cool signings The Urges who also play Thomas Reid’s Transformer night on July 25.
Still on a high – what type we’re not exactly sure – after supporting The Fleshtones and Wild Billy Childish & The Musicians Of The British Empire in Holland, they’ll be plugging their cracking Psych-Ward album.
Tower duties completed, Mr. Van Zandt hotfoots it over to the RDS where
Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band are playing the second of their twoDublin dates. A limited number of tickets are still available priced €96.25.
